Every year approximately 4000 people are injured on circular saws, corresponding to 16 injuries per working day. Around 26% of serious accidents in Germany even result in the injured parties receiving a disability pension (according to statistics from German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV), "Accidents at work 2017"). With the new TKS 80 table saw, the risk of the most serious cutting injuries during sawing is reduced. If there is contact with the skin, the cartridge will release a pretensioned spring and push an aluminium block into the saw blade. After triggering, the cartridge is replaced in a flash.
