This Makita replacement shoulder pin fits into various Makita angle grinders. It can also fit into cordless plate joiners and cordless biscuit joiners. The shoulder pin is part of the lock button assembly on your grinder. It's the part that actually engages the spindle gear to lock the grinder. The most common problem with the shoulder pin is that the lower portion can get sheared-off.
