EstimatedThe Milwaukee Thunderweb Metal Drill Bits have a unique design that is characterised by a conical shaped web which gets thicker towards the back of the drill bit. The web is the internal core of the drill bit.
The drill bits have a parabolic web cross section and large web thickness, which accepts higher feed pressure and torque and resists breakages.
Thunderweb Drill Bits have a flute form that ejects hot chips rapidly and dissipates heat for longer life. The open flute form reduces drill drawback when drilling in deeper holes, and the sharpened edges reduce binding for faster, cleaner cuts. The flatter twist angle creates smaller chippngs, ideal for harder steels such as stainless steel.
A 135° split point ensures precision starting, without the drill bit walking and requires less effort/ feed pressure. It penetrates quickly and is ideal for drilling on curved surfaces.
Each 19 piece set comprises one of each of the following sizes:
