Dewalt Switch That Fits Multiple Radial Arm Saws 

Whenever a Radial Arm Saw stops working or the power deteriorates It is commonly an issue to do with the Switch. Repacing a switch on a Mitre Saw is a fairly simple process, Ensuring that your Radial Arm Saw is fully up to speed is imperative to completing your jobs efficiently and effectively, so replacing your switch will help you achieve that.

New switches were introduced in May 1997 to replace the original Weber switch. When replacing the old Weber switch 44552 with the new part number 861385-04 you must ensure that the switch connections are correct to ensure the overload circuit is operative. The old switches were connected from the motor at positions marked 4 and 5 on the switch body, the new switches are connected at positions 3 and 6 marked on the switch body. Please refer to the Service Bulletin issued in May 1997 giving full details, with copies of the old and new wiring diagrams.
