In StockDewalt Impact Wrench Detent For DCF897 DCF898 DCF899
The detent is designed for sockets (impact) with the hole in the end to give more holding strength when connected to the tool. This sometimes makes it a little harder to pull off plus you need to line up the socket hole with the detent.
