The DeWalt 086947-00 Circlip Ring Spring is a metal retaining ring fitted to the anvil of compatible impact wrenches. It helps retain the anvil components securely during operation and can become worn, damaged or lost when the anvil is removed during servicing. The 086947-00 is used across a wide range of DeWalt impact wrenches, including the DCF889, DCF899, DCF900, DCF921 and DCF961, as well as older DW291 and DW293 models. It is also used on selected Black & Decker, FACOM, Stanley and USAG impact wrench models.
