The Makita BA00000380 Pull Spring is a genuine replacement part designed specifically for the Makita AN902 Coil Framing Nailer. It maintains tension inside the nailer’s magazine, ensuring smooth nail feeding and preventing jams.

 

A pull spring (often called an extension spring) works just like a stretchy toy Slinky. When you hook one end to a fixed anchor inside your nailer and connect the other end to the pusher that pushes nails forward, the spring stretches out. As you use the nails, the spring uses a "pulling" force to keep the remaining nails tight against the tool's firing area.
