Carbon Brushes are usually the first port of call for power tool maintenance and repair.

DeWalt 445861-13 replacement spare Single Carbon Brush 230V to suit DeWalt, Elu, and Black & Decker sanders and angle drills.
With carbon brushes being a wearable part, they are usually the most common component to be replaced. If the carbon brushes are worn they can cause loss of power, braking issues, and an increased likelihood of the armature burning out. Changing brushes is usually a relatively simple process and it is a good idea to check the condition of your armature during the repair.
