With carbon brush holders being a wearable part, they are usually the most common component to be replaced. If the carbon brush holders are worn they can cause loss of power, braking issues, and an increased likelihood of the armature burning out. Changing this spare part is usually a relatively simple process and we recommend that you change the carbon brushes at the same time as the brush holders.
