This Chuck Nose Spring is a common spare part replaced across DeWalt Impact Drivers due to it being the main spring behind the sleeve that releases/locks drillbits. This part is found in the front chuck "nose" of the machine. Due to the impact and wear and tear these machines experience over the course of time these parts will wear down, due to this we recommend you replace the other parts found in the chuck assembly.
